Brion-Vega is the deceased’s company name and is often quoted incorrectly as the name of this great piece Bradley October 31, 2009 at 3:23 am Yes you are correct about it being Carlo Scarpa. We might have fat-fingered the double “s”. For the record the editor of this blog has personally visited this and other works by Scarpa and was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail in all of his projects. It should also be mentioned that although this is the final resting place and chapel for the Brion family, Scarpa himself is buried in a non-descript corner of the attached communal cemetery adjacent to the area photographed.
